    I am terrible for breaking off bits of plants (with consent) I like and see if I can propagate them for free plants! Loved the leaf of this plant and wondered if anyone knows what it could be? Thank you.

    That looks a bit like a Buddleja leaf to me, possibly the narrow form called Buddleja salviifolia 👍
