Using the 'Chelsea Chop' in a tropical style garden
The ‘Chelsea Chop’ is a nickname for the process of cutting back herbaceous perennials to encourage later flowering or a better shape. So called because the RHS Chelsea flower show happens at the end of May, the ideal time to prune plants in this way. In this video I show you how I give some of my exotic plants the chop.
