    Sloping Tropical Border Ideas

    Hi everyone. I am hoping to get some ideas for creating a tropical border on a downward slope. The area gets full sun all day. I love plants with big leaves. I already have Tetrapanax, Paulownia, Ensette, Ginger, Canna, and Musa Basjoo to go in. Are there any other plants I can get which will enjoy a bit of sun? I have attached a picture of my border. Any ideas are most welcome

    What a great plot! Have you tried Gunnera, I know @George loves his 😁 There are also some lovely large leaved Magnolias that take full sun.

      I ordered a small Gunnera plug plant from your online store but I don’t think it will reach maximum growth this season. Can you recommend any large-leaf Magnolias? I was also looking at Fig trees and Meliantus major.

        Melianthus is a great plant, especially in full sun. Magnolia delavayi is a fantastic large leaved species.
