Very nice, that variegated one is a favourite of mine. I bet it smells amazing in there! Do you heat your greenhouse in winter?

Also love the layering of plants in this pic. I love looking at other peoples gardens, it’s always inspiring.

Two year anniversary of my new build garden.
Impatiens tinctoria have been the star this year, amazingly tall and fast growing!
I also planted a Miscanthus lutarioriparius which needs urgent attention at the end of this season as it’s starting to run like a good’un!

I can confirm the Miscanthus lutariorparius; dispite looking amazingly exotic and growing to 4 metres in 5 months it had run wild. If you’re thinking of planting this, don’t plant it without a very comprehensive rhizome barrier or put in in a pot!

It looks soooooo good! I absolutely love a circular path 👌

It has overgrown somewhat.. but I suppose that’s OK!
Very happy with how it’s turned out this year. Still alot of work to do though. As always there are bits I will be changing next summer.

hi Craig, it is the third summer after i planted it and it get’s bigger each year, i think last year i had 5 flowers, this year seven and the tallest one is around 2 meter high. it always did well but this year extremely well 🙂 Also it looks like the flowers looks pretty, for a much longer time as before, now after a week they still look amazing, i remember them flowering just for couple of days the years before

I am soooooooo envious of your Manihot, I’d love to add one to my collection 😀

Thanks, it did sooo well this summer. It is reaching 2,5 meters now and lots of seedpods developing. Def worth the try! I took a couple of cuttings weeks ago, hopefully they develop roots

Hi Craig, yes i leave it in the ground again like last winter.
The thinner branches will die pretty quickly after the first frost. I only protected the base stem with fleece cloth. When I’m home i will take a picture of the base and you can see to where i had to cut it back last spring. If you live in the south it will definitly survive the winters without to much protection at all
