    Hi

Can you propagate begonia pedatifida via leaf cuttings?

If so it’s it the same method as other begonia by cutting the veins on the back of the leaf?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi @rklh_26 ,

Yes Begonia pedatifida can be propagated by leaf cuttings just as you described. I find that the section that has the petiole (the leaf stem) attached has a much higher success rate than the other sections so make sure you use that too.

Summer is a perfect time to do it, but be sure to keep them shaded to prevent the leaves drying out.

I’ve created a video about this process that might help 😁 https://youtu.be/H6nymxHb_Q8
