I’ve just joined this forum and I’m learning something already! I managed to buy a small S. taiwaniana in November 2022. Since I live in Scotland, I thought I’d keep it as a houseplant until late spring. It was a miserable houseplant and died before the time came to plant it out. I was really annoyed with myself for not looking after it well enough. Had no idea that it wouldn’t like being indoors. I was under the impression that lots of people kept them as houseplants but that must be a different cultivar.
