Oops forgot to put in notes ..
I have had my Tetrapanax in a pot for about four years. We moved house this year so planted it in a new flower bed about a month ago. It has stopped growing and the branches are turning red and looks like it will loose its leaves and they have been drooping. Is it just in shock ? Hoping it Will recover 😥

Hi @Tora , that’s a beautiful large plant. It looks like planting shock or under watering as it’s the oldest leaves that are being shed first. It’s not a huge problem as Tetrapanax shed their lower leaves naturally, so long as the new emerging leaves remain healthy it should recover. The new leaves will be better equipped to survive in this new potted location too, they will be better adjusted to the light levels.
