    Musa basjoo pipe protection

    Hi there I have purchased some 125mm wide 1 meter long plastic drainage pipe (not perforated) to slide over my musa basjoo maybe with some fleece around the stem first. Should i drill some holes in the pipe to add some ventilation and if so near the top or bottom? Thanks Chris

    Hi @chrisf , yes I would definitely recommend adding some ventilation holes. Water could build up inside otherwise which will cause the stem to rot and undo all your hard work.
    In one of @George videos he chats with Shane about his process using drainage pipe.
