Hi everyone, my loquat tree is very leggy. The bottom leaves turn yellow and fall off creating this leggy canopy. Can I prune it hard to make it bush out? 🙏🏻

Hello @suffolkGal , yes you can prune these to create a better or bushier shape. Usually I would recommend doing it in late Spring but if your’s is pushing out lots of new growth still you could get away with it now. I pruned our Loquat tree in a video guide for pruning evergreens, I’ll share it here and hopefully it will help you out. Good luck!
